VideoLink’s Steps to In-studio Live Shot Success in the COVID-19 Era

It’s been more than three months since VideoLink sent the majority of our staff home to work. However, the news is an essential business, and our business is getting the experts on the air, both nationally and internationally. Like many, as COVID-19 escalated, our team started working the problem.

Leading up to the shutdown, we saw an unprecedented volume of experts in and out of our studios. During that time, we stayed vigilant, guiding our team to make prudent choices for the safety of our guests and staff. While we were already in the habit of cleaning our tools, we didn’t want to take any chances.

As it became clear that the pandemic was intensifying, we continued to keep the doors open for our guests to effectively share their message, but in the safest way possible. Our goal was to support the experts that we regularly put on the air while keeping the safety of all in mind. To do so, we immediately incorporated practices established by the CDC. A lot has changed in these three months. But, I can happily report that the candy jars are still stocked. They’re just next to our hand-washing stations.

Our team is working diligently to keep our facility, organization, and, most of all, our guests safe at all times. And we are proud to be doing so. While it may be a slightly longer process, we are open and ready for you to share your message with your audiences via our studios.
