VideoLink recently held a ceremony to honor and award our Telly Award winners with Telly Statues for the original documentary:  “Define Normal”.   Our multi-camera studio served as the backdrop as the CEO of Make-A-Wish Massachusetts, Charlotte Beattie, joined us to accept the Telly Award for the Charitable/Non-profit sector.  Also accepting was documentary writer/producer and Make-A-Wish recipient Michelle Kats.   From VideoLink Lauren Murgia, producer and Casey McGee, editor also accepted awards.    In total VideoLink was honored with three Telly Awards for Charitable/Non-profit, editing and copy writing.

With the help of the Make A Wish Foundation of Massachusetts and VideoLink, Michelle Katz was able to complete her wish to film and produce this Telly award winning documentary, Define Normal. Michelle has been fighting renal kidney failure for the greater part of her young life. Throughout her medical battle the eighteen year old has become a teacher and an advocate for other children who are or will be experiencing kidney transplants and dialysis. Michelle’s wish was to continue her legacy by chronicling her life experiences in a video documentary.
