Boston, MA 06.10.09 – VideoLink has won three Telly Awards for the documentary "Define Normal". Produced in association with, The Make a Wish Foundation “Define Normal” was written by Michelle Kats, a young woman who’s spent most of her life battling renal kidney failure. Michelle had dreamt of writing and directing a documentary about her illness and requested it as her wish, “Define Normal” was the culmination of that dream.
VideoLink was honored in the Charitable/Non-profit, Editing and Copywriting categories. Lauren Murgia, Producer along with Casey McGee, Editor worked tirelessly with Michelle to build her wish into an award-winning documentary. Michelle’s dream, hard work and ability to open up and be such a strong advocate for other children in this battle was truly an inspiration to VideoLink and ultimately lead to the Telly Award recognition.
