Doug began his 30-year television career as a freelance sound tech and then a freelance cameraman for CBS Network News covering every major news event in New England.  Building on an active freelance life he worked for many of the major video production houses and corporate communications departments in New England developing a reputation as a highly skilled director of photography and producer/director for many corporate, educational and medical programs.  
 
Working alongside Dean Gaskill for many years, covering the same stories for different networks, the two formed a close bond, which ultimately lead to the formation of the partnership which became VideoLink.  Doug's expertise in production logistics, field production and skill behind the lens have been the building blocks on which VideoLink has grown to the media communications firm it is today.  Doug is actively involved in the company's major productions as well as development of new products and services.  He also finds time to venture into the field with the camera affixed to his shoulder.
 
Doug is a graduate of Ithaca College, Park School of Communications, where he majored in Educational and Instructional Media with an emphasis on video production.
